About Kabaad se Jugaad

Do we have any relationship with what we throw away? Does it have any bearing on our lives, the way we think, the way we consume? Where does this thrown garbage go? Is it enough to not litter, keep the environment clean by throwing in bins? What role do packaged food play in our lives, the garbage they generate in our bodies and our environment? How does eating affect our physical and mental well being?

Can there be anything spiritual about sifting through garbage?

These, and more, were some of the questions that went around in the formal and informal discussions in the kabaad se jugaad meet.

We are seeking ways to transform some of this kabaad (garbage) into jugaad (useful, durable, beautiful things). We are also trying to change our own lives, to make it eco-friendly and zero waste. More
